Rodney Cook joins Just Retirement from LV=

Equity release provider Just Retirement has named Rodney Cook as its new chief executive.

Mr Cook most recently served as managing director of life and pensions at LV=. Prior to this he held senior management roles at a range of financial services companies including Pearl Assurance, Zurich Financial Services and Prudential.

Commenting on the appointment, Just Retirement chairman, Tom Cross-Brown, said: “Over the last few years, Just Retirement has established itself as a trusted and innovative organisation, with a strong reputation for the quality of its relationships with IFAs, its business partners and, critically, its end customers.

“Given Rodney’s experience in the wider retirement market and in product innovation, I am confident that his appointment will allow Just Retirement to continue to go from strength to strength.”

Mr Cook said he was “intent on maintaining and growing” the business, both in “financial and reputation” terms. He added: “I know that I am joining a talented team of people and I am very much looking forward to working with them.”
