LV= names latest senior recruit

Philip Brown will join equity release specialist LV= as head of retirement propositions in August 2011.

Mr Brown has 23 years’ experience in financial services. He joins the company from Partnership, where he has served as head of retirement products since October 2007.

Mr Brown was a founder member of Pensions Income Choice Association (PICA), the group lobbying for the open market to be the default annuity option, and is chair of the Origo Options steering group.
